Pursuant to 31 CFR 515.560 and 515.567 and other related dispositions, participating in athletic competitions is one of the authorized travel categories for US citizens come to Cuba.

We deeply encourage US athletes to take benefit of the unique opportunity to enjoy competing with athletes from all over the world, in the unparalleled setting of Havana, fully complying with the US law. US athletes must contact their US Federation to become selected for participation.

Participants will be provided with an Official Certificate acknowledged by World Triathlon for the certification of their results.

LOC will provide participants on demand with a copy of such certificate for 5 years.

Travel logistics can be arranged by a number of OFAC licensed travel agencies.
